The Services SETA hosted the inaugural ECDI Conference on 01 March 2018 at the Riversands Incubation Hub on the outskirts of Fourways. The primary purpose of the Conference was to present the JOINT Programme of Action to be designed into products and services to be offered through the ECDI.
The Services SETA wants to attract high calibre experts to be appointed as design consultants for the different interventions.
The Services SETA wants to attract a range of stakeholders from different categories of entrepreneurs and, services providers to entrepreneurs, who can facilitate and participate in dialogue to shape and test the design of products and services.
The Accounting Authority (Board) of the Services SETA mandated Ms Kate Moloto, a Board member, to appoint and Chair an Advisory Committee of experts covering diverse interests in respect of categories of entrepreneurs, constituencies and entities. The Committees role was to inform the development of the ECDI Conceptual Framework and Implementation Plan.
