A community of practice is a high-value knowledge network of expert practitioners with shared interests and competencies that interact and engage in discussions to share resources, experiences, stories, tools and approaches, learning with and from each other. Collecting and documenting lessons and practices creates knowledge, builds strategic capabilities, improves performance and fosters innovation.
The Services SETA under the ECDI Programme of Action seeks to convene Communities of Practice from various service areas across the entrepreneurial ecosystem value chain. To ensure relevance and high value, it is important to limit participation to active practitioners. As a result, interested practitioners will need to register and present a brief description of their current scope of work.
The intention is to cultivate up to EIGHT Communities of Practice over the next TWO years that convene quarterly. To maximise participation these knowledge networks will interact and engage through online webinars. Outcomes of Community of Practice engagements will be widely disseminated as discussion papers.
We invite practitioners in the following fields of practice to register as a participant and presenter/panellist for one or more of the following:
As a minimum, register as a participant for the COP/s that you are interested in and provide a brief practitioner profile aligned to the above criteria. In addition, participants may apply to be a presenter/panellist to share their resources, experiences, stories, tools and approaches which will require an abstract motivation.
Please complete the eForm to register. Confirmation of participation and successful presenters/panellists will be notified within two weeks of the scheduled webinars.
